Mt. Baldy Trailhead

If you like to travel on foot, Baldy is a good place to go. The mountain has a bare, round top (like a bald head). The trail starts at the base, from a parking lot. In your way to top you will find a radio antenna. The trail can be a little muddy early in the season, but near the top the terrain is rocky, so it is not likely you will have problems climbing. Be sure to take gloves and pants with you, because on top you can find snow, even in April. From the top you will have a wonderful view of Eagle River Valley and its surroundings. It would be a good idea to take a bug spray with you.
