Minnesota Children's Museum

Minnesota Children’s Museum offers families a fun, stimulating hands-on environment to discover and explore. The Museum is dedicated to sparking children’s learning through play. Through immersive exhibits and programs, the Museum emphasizes play as a critical ingredient in every child’s development. Our vision: “Kids play more. Adults do, too. We thrive as a happier, healthier and more innovative community through the radiant power of play.” The Museum begins a major expansion and renovation this fall, but will be open for play during most of the project.

Xcel Energy Center

The Xcel Energy Center is a multi-purpose arena located in Saint Paul, Minnesota. It is named for its locally based corporate sponsor Xcel Energy. Xcel Energy Center encompasses 650,000 square feet with four separate concourses and four seating levels plus a press level. It provides configuration capabilities to accommodate more than 20,000 guests. The arena is owned by the city of Saint Paul and operated by Minnesota Sports & Entertainment. Home to the NHL's Minnesota Wild, it is on the same block as the Saint Paul RiverCentre convention facility, Roy Wilkins Auditorium and the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts in downtown St. Paul.

Harriet Island-Clarence W. Wigington Pavilion

Harriet Island Regional Park is a popular park located alongside the Mississippi River close to downtown Saint Paul. The park has numerous amenities including the Clarence W. Wigington Pavilion, a 5,000 square foot facility that hosts various receptions, parties and weddings year round.

Cherokee Regional Park

Cherokee Regional Park was created as a recreational and green space in the 1900s. It has since become one of the most visited parks in St. Paul with over 300,000 visitors a year. The park amenities include playgrounds, tennis courts, fire pits, grills and others. The park's popularity is enhanced by the presence of two open-air shelters that are widely used during the season.

Wabasha Street Caves

The Wabasha Street Caves is an event hall built into the sandstone caves located on the south shore of the Mississippi River in downtown Saint Paul, Minnesota. The caves have been home to mobsters, speakeasies, and in more recent years have begun hosting a "Swing Night" on Thursday nights with live big-band music. The Wabasha Street Caves also provide historical tours of the sandstone caves in Saint Paul and Stillwater, Minnesota.

High Bridge Dog Park

The High Bridge Dog Park is a former coal power plant site that was cleaned up and given to the city as a dog park in May 2012. Normal dog park rules apply in High Bridge Dog Park. The park opened officially at May 31, 2012 at 5:30 p.m.

Wellstone Center

The Wellstone Center is a living memorial to Minnesota Senator Paul Wellstone and his wife who died in a plane crash in 2002. The Center was built in 2006. The Wellstone Center is on St Paul’s historic West Side, close to downtown and has free parking. It is a large facility made of both new and recycled materials, featuring many different meeting and event spaces available for rent at reasonable rates.

CHS Field

St. Paul Saints baseball team’s first home opener in their new stadium at CHS Field was in May 2015! Located in the Lowertown neighborhood of Saint Paul. CHS Field is connected to the METRO Green Line and the existing bus lines. In addition, two nearby trails, the Bruce Vento Regional Trail and the Sam Morgan Regional Trail.
