East Cobb is an unincorporated community in Cobb County, Georgia, United States. It is a northern suburb of Atlanta and has a population of approximately 169,000. The community is one of the most sought-after in the Atlanta metro area thanks to its low crime rate, beautiful neighborhoods, top performing schools, and low taxes. The Avenue (shopping)

The Avenue is a chain of outdoor shopping centers across Georgia. The Avenue offers a dynamic mix of national and local retailers, restaurants and entertainment venues. The East Cobb location offers such stores as: Williams Sonoma, Bed, Bath and Beyond, Pottery Barn, Banana Republic, Gap, Talbot's, Chico's, and several others.

Merchant's Walk Retail Center

Merchant's Walk Retail Center is a 362,000 sq. ft. retail center at the heart of East Cobb, it is located at the intersection of Roswell Rd and Johnson Ferry Rd. The center features such merchants as Whole Food Market, SEED Kitchen & Bar, Kohl's, Stein Mart, Georgia Theatre, and many more.

East Cobb Park

East Cobb Park is a large park off of Roswell Road. The park was opened in 2003 and is the direct result of the collaboration between the Cobb County Parks Division and the local residents, the funding for the park came primarily from the residents of East Cobb and corporate sponsors.
The park offers plenty of amenities, such as picnic pavilions, walking trails and a band pavilion.

Sope Creek Park and Trail

Sope Creek Park and Trail are part of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area, and are a popular spot for hikers and mountain bikers. Sope Creek offers wonderful views and a welcome respite from the city life. The Sope Creek trails are opened to everyone and are maintained by volunteers from the Southern Off‐Road Bicycle Association, in cooperation with the National Park Service.
Sope Creek is also home to the historic ruins of the Marietta Paper Mills.

Glover Park

Glover Park is located at the center of Marietta Square, a true historic landmark and extremely popular with locals and many other Cobb County residents. The park and the square itself are quite busy with plenty of art and cultural exhibitions, social gatherings, concerts, and much more.

Marietta Ice Center

Marietta Ice Centers offers a place for skating fans to take a spin, as well as learn a thing or two. The center offers lessons in both skating and figure skating, and also hokey.

East Cobb Baseball

East Cobb Baseball's prime mission is to help players fully understand the game, guide and improve their skills and prep them for college or professional baseball. The center offers lessons and teams for kids ages 8 through 17.

Shoot the Hooch (rafting)

Shoot the Hooch offers raft, canoe, kayak, tube, and paddleboard rentals for cruising along the Chattahoochee River. You can take a trip from the Don White Memorial Park downriver for 1.5 miles or take a 3 mile ride from Island Ford, Shoot the Hooch will take care of everything for you. Rentals are hourly based, so the trip can be more a matter of speed than actual distance.

Harrison Park Tennis Center

Harrison Tennis Center is one of the busiest and largest in the Atlanta area. It offers visitors sixteen full sized courts, six 36' QuickStart courts and a pro shop. The center is also home to many ALTA and USTA teams, and hosts numerous tournaments and championships.

Noonday Creek Trail

Noonday Creek Trail is a 2.3mile pedestrian path connecting the Mountain-to-River Trail and West Cobb Trail. The path runs along the Noonday Creek, hence the name, and offers a easy, picturesque walk.

Whitaker Park

Whitaker Park is a small, 2.3 acre park, but it offers plenty of amenities. The park offers: a large playground, one-fifth-mile paved walking track, multi-purpose field, gazebo, picnic tables, benches, portable restroom, and a small parking lot.

Fullers Park

Fullers Park is a medium sized park, adjacent to East Cobb Park. Fullers is actually more of a sports center than a park, it offers five baseball fields, four tennis courts, one football field, and one soccer field. To add to it, there are several sports programs available, like Youth Baseball, Youth Football, Youth Basketball, Youth Soccer, Adult Basketball. Of course the park isn't all sports, it does offer a playground and several picnic pavilions, several trails and lots of greens to enjoy.

Indian Hills Country Club

Indian Hills Country Club features golf, tennis and swimming. It is home to a 27 holes of golf, eight tennis courts and three swimming pools. In addition the club offers a clubhouse with restaurant and social events.

East Cobb Stables are a local landmark, having provided a place to ride and relax since 1959. The picturesque 3.5 acre facility offers several tracks and circles for riding and learning to ride; the instructors provide lessons in riding, showmanship, horse care, grooming, and tacking.
