The Angel Oak Tree is believed to be at least 400 years old and according to some may even be over 1000 years! There is no entry fee to view the tree at Angel Oak Park on Johns Island. The tree is truly remarkable and a one of a kind attraction. There is a shop onsite where you can purchase professional photos and paintings of the tree.

Limehouse Bridge & Boat Ramp

The John P. Limehouse Bridge Boat Landing is located on the Stono River on Johns Island. It is a public boat landing and is accessible from Main Road. Whether you are launching a boat or kayak or just down for some Lowcountry fishing, this public boat launch offers entertainment and gorgeous views along the Stono River.

Twin Lakes

Twin Lakes is conveniently located off Maybank Highway and features homes from the $200s. Crescent Homes offers several floor plans for 1, 2 or 3 stories ranging from 1500 to over 3000 square feet. The community features large oak trees, ponds, walking trails and swimming pool.

Fenwick Woods

Fenwick Woods offers homes by Mungo from 1400 to over 4100 square feet. These homes feature open floor plans, formal living and dining rooms, up to six bedrooms and 2-car garages. Mungo homes are energy efficient and hauSmart certified. Fenwick Woods is located off Brownswood road, which is conveniently accessible from Main Road or River Road. Maybank Village

Maybank Village is located off of Walter Drive and features homes by Beazer ranging in price from $220s to $270s. Seven floor plans are available from 1500 to 2855 square feet. Swygert's Landing

Whitney Lake

Whitney Lake is a new community off of Maybank Highway near Trophy Lakes. Ryland Homes is the builder and features 5 different floor plans with HouseWorks energy efficiency. Planned amenities include swimming pool, clubhouse and parks. Prices start in the low $200s.

The Stono Breeze

The Stono Breeze is located at St. Johns Yacht Harbor off of Maybank Highway on Johns Island. Stop by the Breeze for evening drinks and a bite to eat while watching amazing Charleston sunsets and occasional live music.

Charleston Executive Airport

Charleston Executive Airport (JZI) was originally an auxiliary to the Columbia Army Air Base and later reassigned to Air Transport Command. In 1945 it was converted to a civil airport. Atlantic Aviation serves many who travel in and out of JZI, providing fuel, catering, hotel reservations and more.
