Cherry Creek and Cherry Creek north are located in central Denver and are bound by the Cherry Creek and 6th avenue to the north and south and University Blvd. and Colorado Blvd. to the east and west. The Cherry Creek neighborhood is an eclectic mix of residential properties, an upscale mall, fine dining, art galleries, wine bars and cultural activities. The 16 blocks of Cherry Creek north tout a total of 320 boutiques, restaurants, salons, spas and exclusive, upscale shops. Some of these shops include Hermes, Lulu Lemon and HW Home. Every July 4th, cherry creek north hosts the Cherry Creek Arts Festival for three days of art, musical performances, food and fun! There is also a farmers market held weekly throughout the summer. Cherry Creek offers an upscale shopping, dining and living experience. Is this the right neighborhood for you to call home?

Cherry Creek Shopping Center

Cherry Creek is home to a high-end indoor mall that is home to a total of more than 160 shops including Tiffany & Co. and Neiman Marcus. This shopping center also is in the process of adding Restoration Hardware's design center super store on to an existing space. This space will occupy just over 50,000 square feet of interior design bliss.

Vinue food and wine bar

Vinue has an array of 68 different varietals from around the world. It's unique because wine enthusiasts are able to pour their own samples. This is a wonderful venue to grab a drink and a decadent dessert on a date night or a girls’ night out. A good tip, if you plan on heading to Vinue, call ahead and get a reservation, otherwise it is standing room only.

Machete Tequila + Tacos

This is a wonderful local restaurant in the heart of Cherry Creek North. Machete serves up an eclectic mix of street tacos as well as authentic Mexican cuisine. They also create delicious handcrafted margaritas. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Denver because they have a fun, vibrant nightlife vibe after dark, but cater to a laid back lunch during the day. Machete also recently opened a second location in downtown Denver across the street from Union Station.

Cherry Creek Bike Path

Cherry Creek is also home to an 11.2 bike and walking path that starts downtown and runs through the heart of Denver, and finishes at Cherry Creek Reservoir. This path is a great way to see the sights and sounds of the urban Denver environment while enjoying a bike ride or walk around town.

True Food Kitchen

Cherry Creek North is home to True Food Kitchen that was founded by Dr. Andrew Weil & Sam Fox. This is one of my personal favorite restaurants in Denver because not only do they offer an array of seasonal dishes for lunch and dinner, but they offer plenty of vegetarian and vegan entrees to please all palettes.

Bromwell Elementary School

Bromwell Elementary school is part of the Denver Public School district, though it is among one of the most distinguished kindergarten through 5th grade schools in the Denver metro area. Also, the Bromwell website states, "The school is partnered with DPS and Denver Urban Garden and has 12 plots which 6 are used for school garden to cafeteria program, 2 are school community plots and 4 are from the outside community."

Cherry Cricket

The Cherry Cricket is a true neighborhood gem serving up comfort foods until midnight. This restaurant affectionately refers to themselves as "The Black Sheep of Cherry Cricket." Since it opened its doors in the 1950's to Mary Zimmerman's biker bar to the Wynkoop Brewing Company days when Denver's former Mayor John Hickenlooper held ownership, the Cherry Cricket has been a neighborhood favorite.
