Paradise, NV is a CDP in Clark County and independent of the city of Las Vegas. Paradise officially incorporates most of The Strip, and the hotels and casinos within, which means most tourists who visit The Strip, are actually visiting Paradise and not the City of Las Vegas.

UNLV Student Recreation and Wellness Center

University of Nevada-Las Vegas' Student Recreation and Wellness Center is an amazing 4-floor complex which offers a huge variety of amenities to both students and guests (free for students, guests have to pay a monthly fee).
The center offers: Fitness, Intramurals, Sport Clubs, Aquatics, Open Rec, Education & Workshops, Equipment Rentals.

Sunset Park

Sunset Park is a mid-sized park near the center of Paradise. It is a very popular park with the locals, it offers a large number of amenities, including a man-made lake, where one can actually fish. The park also offers: Interperative trails; Walking paths; A water play splash pad feature; Playgrounds; Bicycle, fishing and sports equipment rentals.

Vegas Valley Gymnastics Center

Vegas Valley Gymnastics Center, or simply VV Gym, offers a compact, but well equipped facility for youth and adults alike. They offer custom, individually created training plans for the whole family.

Cambridge Recreation Center & Water Park

Cambridge Recreation Center & Water Park offers recreation classes, picnic areas, playground, skate park, outdoor water park, gymnasium, and fitness center.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.; Saturday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Paradise Park is a small park on McLeod Dr and Tropicana Ave. It offers the following amenities: Ball fields, basketball court, fitness course, playground, large mature shade trees, restrooms, and (seasonal) pool. Classes & events are held in the park.

Longevity Sports Center

Longevity Sports Center is a new facility in Las Vegas offering indoor soccer for both youth and adults. The center offers: Nationally renowned child development program; Fun Age Appropriate activities; Curriculum founded on renowned child development theories; Builds strong fundamental skills.

Mickey's Cues & Brews (pool hall)

Mickey's Cues & Brews is a local favorite, it is a very roomy, well priced and well equipped pool hall. Mickey's is the place to be for an easy evening, shoot some pool, listen to some 80s/90s music and simply enjoy the great beer and wine on offer. The pool hall is open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

Boys & Girls Clubs-Las Vegas

The Boys & Girls Clubs of America is an organization focused on providing a safe and stimulating environment, where young people learn the skills necessary to become productive, responsible and caring members of the community.

Thousand Trails RV Park

Thousand Trails' Desert RV camp offers wonderful surroundings and plenty of amenities to visitors. The camp is located in Northeast Paradise, offering a great view of the mountains to the East and the Vegas Valley. Besides views, the park offers a swimming pool, hot tub, clubhouse, laundry facilities, picnic/BBQ area, and fitness center.

Las Vegas National Golf Course

Las Vegas National Golf Club is a classic 18-hole course located just 10 minutes away from The Strip. The course offers golfers of all levels a chance to enjoy a championship course featuring plenty of well placed bunkers, a few water traps, thousands of trees, and lush fairways and greens.

Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center

The Sunrise Hospital & Medical Center is a 730-bed for-profit hospital operated by Sunrise Healthcare System and owned by the Hospital Corporation of America. The hospital was established in 1958 and was built by the Las Vegas developer Irwin Molasky. The first Children's Hospital in the Las Vegas Valley, Sunrise Children's Hospital, is located on the campus.

Lied Library

The Lied Library building, at 5 stories and 302,000 square feet (28,100 m2), is the largest on University of Nevada, Las Vegas's (UNLV) campus in Paradise. It was designed by Pugsley Simpson Coulter Architects. The UNLV Libraries offer a collection of over one million volumes, access to over 20,000 online and print journals and more than 2 million additional resources of various media such as microfilm, DVDs, and government publications. The library is equipped with over 250 computers and is part of the campus wireless network. Visitors with identification may use library computers to access the Libraries' online holdings, but Internet access is not available to the general public.

The National Atomic Testing Museum

The National Atomic Testing Museum in Paradise documents the history of nuclear testing at the Nevada Test Site (NTS) in the desert north of Las Vegas. The museum operates as an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution. The museum covers the period from the first test at NTS on January 27, 1951, to the present. Among its exhibits covering American nuclear history is a "Ground Zero Theater" which simulates the experience of observing an atmospheric nuclear test. Other exhibits include Geiger counters, radio badges and radiation testing devices, Native American artifacts from around the test area, pop culture memorabilia related to the atomic age, equipment used in testing the devices. Other displays focus on important figures at the facility, videos and interactive exhibits about radiation.

Madame Tussauds Las Vegas (wax museum)

Madame Tussauds is a wax museum in London with branches in a number of major cities. It was founded by wax sculptor Marie Tussaud and was formerly known as "Madame Tussaud's"; the apostrophe is no longer used. Madame Tussauds is a major tourist attraction, displaying waxworks of historical and royal figures, film stars, sports stars and infamous murderers. Madame Tussauds is owned and operated by Merlin Entertainments. Madame Tussauds in Las Vegas was featured in Travel Channel`s Ghost Adventures.

Boxing Hall of Fame, Inc.

The Nevada Boxing Hall of Fame (abbreviated NVBHOF) is a non-profit organization founded in June 2012 by American sports broadcaster Rich Marotta. The company honors boxers and those in the industry who have significantly contributed to the state of Nevada, and donates proceeds toward Nevada-based/boxing-related charities and causes. In December 2012, they announced their inaugural class of 19 inductees at a press conference in North Las Vegas at former professional boxing referee Richard Steele's boxing gym. Amongst the inductees were boxers Mike Tyson, Julio Cesar Chavez, Larry Holmes, Oscar De La Hoya, Sugar Ray Leonard, trainers Eddie Futch and Freddie Roach, referees Mills Lane and Joe Cortez, as well promoters Bob Arum and Don King.
