Downtown Recreation Center

Downtown Recreation Center is located at the center of the city, adjacent to the City Hall and the Downtown Park. The center features an indoor walking track and fitness center, game room, gymnasium, racquetball/wallyball court, sauna, and seasonal swimming pool.

Henderson Multigenerational Center

The Henderson Multigenerational Center/Aquatic Complex aims to bring people of all generations together in recreation. The state-of-the-art facility is 84,000 sq. feet in size and includes an aquatic center, several pools, jogging and exercising facilities, dance program, and much more.

Whitney Ranch Recreation Center

Whitney Ranch Recreation Center/Aquatic Complex is a favorite with local kids, as it is in close proximity to several schools. It is also popular with local families thanks to its state-of-the-art aquatic complex and many affordable programs.
The staff is also very welcoming and attentive to young visitors, helping and guiding them when needed.

Valley View Recreation Center

Valley View is a 40,000 sq. feet recreation center located at the heart of Henderson, adjacent to Morrell Park. The center has been in service for nearly 20 years, it offers locals a variety of low-cost and free programs. The center offers a gymnasium, fitness center, game room, racquetball/wallyball court, classrooms, and is even home to a state-licensed preschool program.

Silver Springs Recreation Center

Silver Springs Recreation Center is in close proximity of several residential neighborhoods and is a favorite place to relax for local families. It offers a relaxed, family-oriented atmosphere and activities. The center also has an outdoors swimming pool which is open during summer.

Heritage Park Senior Facility

The Heritage Park Senior Facility is a 30,000 sq.ft. center adjacent to the Heritage Park Aquatic Complex. It is designed to meet the needs of the city's active 50 and older population. It offers a variety of programs like computer classes, art classes, cooking classes, exercise facilities, dance classes, etc.

Hidden Falls Park is an amazing 18 acre park on the south side of Henderson. It is a great place to go with your family and kids, and enjoy the many amenities it offers. The park features: Lighted basketball courts, Covered picnic shelters, Dog park, Picnic tables, Open grass area, Two Playgrounds, Lighted skate park, Splash pads, Trailhead for Amargosa Trail, and Walking course.

Arroyo Grande Sports Complex & Park

Arroyo Grande Sports Complex is in fact a mid-size, 56 acre park which is home to several softball fields and basketball courts. The complex was named "Outstanding Park" by the National Softball Association in 2011 and 2012. The park also features: Covered picnic shelters, Bicycle terrain amenities, Dog park with agility elements, Horseshoe pits, Open turf area, Playground, Disc golf, Restrooms, Vehicle and bicycle parking.

Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve

The Bird Viewing Preserve is located in North Henderson, on Galleria Dr, within the Water Reclamation Facility. It is home to countless waterfowl, as well as desert birds. The area is perfect for birdwatching, there are nine ponds with many of the trails being paved and wheelchair accessible. The preserve is in excess of 140 acres, so do get ready to do a lot of walking.

The Legacy Golf Club's 18 hole course was designed by renowned golf course architect Arthur Hills. Hills has created what is considered by many, a true masterpiece of golfing; the course features lava rock patches, large greens and multi-tier fairways.
