The Las Vegas Farm, known as The FARM, is a true local landmark which has been around since the 1960s. The FARM is a great place to take the kids, it gives them the chance to get up close and personal with a great variety of animals, including peacocks, ducks, chickens, turkeys, goats, pigs, horses, cows, a mule, a llama, cats, rabbits, tortoises and more.

Gilcrease Orchard

Gilcrease Orchard is a non-profit organization, its aim is to be a recreational and educational experience for children and adults alike. The orchard is a wonderful place to enjoy fresh air and fresh food directly from the source. Field trips can be organized where participants can both learn and pick fruits and vegetables on their own.

Talisman Farm

Talisman Farm is located in northwest Las Vegas and offers classical European riding lessons. The school follows a program setup up by Will Faerber, a classical riding master. The school offers lessons in riding safety, grooming, dressage, eventing and hunter/jumper riding. Available programs are for beginner through intermediate level riders.

Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort

The Paiute Golf Resort is located within a 25 minute drive northwest of the Strip, on the outskirts of the city. However, it is well worth the drive, the resort ranks amongst the best in Nevada and the country. It is the brainchild of World Golf Hall of Fame Inductee and Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient, Pete Dye. The resort offers a trio of uniquely designed courses, the Snow Mountain, Sun Mountain and Wolf. All three contain signature bits, such as sweeping slopes and railroad tie bunkers. The courses are guaranteed to give even the seasoned golfer a new and exciting experience.

Snow Mountain is the inaugural course of the resort, it offers a total of 7,146 yards with a par 72 layout. Sun Mountain is the second course and a staff favorite, it offers a total of 7,112 yards with a par 72 layout. Wolf is the last and currently the longest course in Nevada, it offers a total of 7604 yards with a par 72 layout and five tee options to temper the challenge.

Silverstone Golf Club

Silverstone Golf Club is a semi-private golf club located just minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. The club has been professionally managed by Par 4 Golf Management since 2011 and ranks among the best in Vegas.

One of Silverstone's key features is the course design. Meticulously designed by Robert Cupp, the courses provide a top notch experience for players of all levels. The club offers Valley, Mountain and Desert nines, which offer a well balanced blend of long and short holes. Of note is the third hole on the Mountain nine, which is the longest hole in the state, at 653 yards.

Mountain Ridge Park

The Mountain Ridge Park is a small to mid-size park, it's approximately 32 acres in size. The park does however feature quite a few amenities, like: Seven Baseball/Softball Fields, Concession Stand, Playground, Skate Park, Roller Hockey Rink, Two Tennis Courts and a Jogging/Walking Path.

Centennial Hills Park

Centennial Hills Park is a mid-sized park, with an approximate acreage of 120. It offers a large number of amenities, such as: Picnic Areas; Two Dog Runs; Ten Sand Volleyball Courts; Two Soccer Fields; Playgrounds (one is a universal playground with ramps and features for all abilities); Two Water Play Areas; Jogging/Walking Path with interpretive signage describing the historical significance of the area; and more.

Floyd Lamb Park

Floyd Lamb Park is a large, 680 acre park located in northwest Las Vegas. The park is unique to the Vegas urban area. It features lush vegetation, wildlife, lakes, and unrestricted views of the mountains further north. The park is also home to the historic Tule Springs Ranch, which offers visitors the chance to learn about the traditional working ranch and early Las Vegas lifestyle.

Clark County Shooting Complex

Clark County Shooting Complex offers practice and competitive events, as well as firearms and archery skill building and safety courses.

The complex is split into several centers, the main attraction is the Shotgun Center, which features 24 combination Trap and Skeet fields, two 15-station Sporting Clay Courses (East & West) and a 5-Stand shooting field. Then we have the Rifle-Pistol Center, which offers several ranges, night lights, shade ramadas, concrete shooting tables and seats, and covered shooting areas. Last, but not least, the Archery Center offers an archery range, covered firing points, night lights, restrooms and a 3-D Walking Course. The complex also has a Pro Shop and an Educational Center.

National Junior Basketball

National Junior Basketball is a nonprofit organization, founded by Dennis Murphy, Jr. in 1984. The NJB started as Murphy's vision of a youth basketball league focused on sportsmanship and player development. It has since achieved nationwide recognition and grown to more than 25,000 participants. The program offers three divisions for boys and girls in first through 12th grade.

Water Wings offers several indoor heated pools and is open to children and adults of all ages and abilities. Water Wings has multiple learning programs, from basic water safety to competitive swimming. Centennial Hills Active Adult Center

The Center Hills Active Adult Center is part of the city of Las Vegas Department of Leisure Services Community Center. The center serves adults 50 and older and offers programs designed to provide active adults with a choice of activities for their leisure time. The center offers such activities as: exercising, computer classes, educational and social activities. The center also offers a heated indoor pool and water aerobics.
