Miami Beach is a coastal resort city in Florida. It has been one of America's pre-eminent beach resorts since the early 20th century. It will celebrate it’s 100th anniversary on March 26, 2015. Miami beach is located on a series of natural and man-made barrier islands between the Atlantic Ocean and Biscayne Bay. The neighborhood of South Beach is the southernmost area of Miami Beach. In 1979, South Beach Art Deco Historic District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The Art Deco District is the largest collection of Art Deco architecture in the world and comprises hundreds of hotels, apartments and other structures erected between 1923 and 1943.

Flamingo Park

The Bass Museum of Art is an art museum located in South beach. The museum specializes in art from around the world from the Renaissance to modern art. It was founded in 1963 from a private donation by art collectors John and Johanna Bass. It now occupies the 1930s Miami Beach Public Library and Art Center.

Lincoln Road Mall

Lincoln Road is also a great people-watching spot in South Beach. It is a pedestrian-only promenade and the epicenter of what’s happening in SoBe. Located between West Avenue and Washington Avenue, the Lincoln Road Mall offers shopping, sidewalk cafes, bars, galleries, and fine dining.

South Pointe Elementary was established in 1991 and is located at 1050 4th Street, Miami Beach, Florida. This A+ rated school is situated on 5.41 acres at the southern tip of Miami Beach.
