The Beauty of Bethesda

Bethesda Chevy Chase High School

Founded in 1926 this local high school is conveniently located in downtown Bethesda. It consistently ranks amongst the top high schools in the nation and offers both Advanced Placement (AP) courses and an International Baccalaureate (IB) Program. Students are actively engaged in extracurriculars ranging from various clubs to sports including Model UN, an acapella club, soccer, field hockey, and a crew team.

Bethesda Elementary School

Located in the heart of Bethesda, this is just one of the several elementary schools serving the greater Bethesda, MD. The school's mascot is the lion's. Be sure to check out their website below!

Westland Middle School

Westland Middle School is one of the primary middle schools for the Bethesda-Chevy Chase area. It's located off Massachusetts avenue just over a mile from the Maryland/DC line. As an International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) school Westland offers the IB Middle Years programme after which students may continue on to pursue an IB Diploma at Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School.

Giant Food & Pharmacy

Giant Food & Pharmacy is a regional chain with locations in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C. This location is perfectly located in the heart of bethesda right by the shops and restaurants on bethesda row and the Bethesda public library.


Safeway is part of a national chain of grocery stores. This particular location is recently renovated and features an in-store Starbucks, covered parking, and a full array of domestic and international foods.

Regal Bethesda Cinema

Dinner and a movie? Catch the latest feature films always playing at Bethesda Regal 10, just one block up from the fabulous shops and restaurants of Bethesda Row! This regal has all that you would expect from a modern theater including online ticketing, and is a safe and regular hang out spot for students from the local middle and high schools on weekend nights.

Bethesda Row

Bethesda Row is a large city block mixed use development right in the center of downtown Bethesda. Offerings include restaurants, shopping and personal services, along with office space and new residential offerings. Highlights include Lululemon, Apple, Fancy Cakes by Leslie (Bakery), American Tap Room, Max Brenner, Bubbles for Hair, Redwood Restaurant and Bar, and much, much more! Equinox Health Club

The gym of celebrities! Just like the many of Bethesda's amenities, this gym is located downtown right next to Bethesda Row. The gym offers a variety of classes along with personal training and a spa all in a chic package.

Bethesda Fine Art

Bethesda Fine Art Gallery is a recent addition to the Bethesda landscape, but one that reflects the community's breadth of cultural interests. The Gallery displays contemporary works completed by 20th century artists. Check out their website below for more information!

Bank of America

Bank of America: this national bank has a strong local presence with countless convenient locations throughout the metropolitan area. This particular branch is located right on Wisconsin Avenue in Bethesda. Expert tip: free parking validated by the bank is available in the parking garage that is part of the same building, just tell the attendant that you're going to the bank and have your ticket validated.

Wells Fargo Bank

Wells Fargo Bank: This national bank has been growing its presence in the metropolitan area over the past several years. Locations can be found wherever your daily life might take you. This location is located right across from Bethesda Row and diagonally across the street from the Giant Food & Pharmacy for extra convenience.

Bethesda Metro Station

Bethesda's metro stop is located at the intersection of East-West Hwy, Old Georgetown Road, and Wisconsin Ave. The stop is on the red line and is the first stop in Maryland when you leave the city. It gives you quick access into the district and is about a 25 minute ride from Metro Center.

Medical Center Metro/Naval Med Ctr & NIH

The Medical Center metro stop sits on the red line. It is one stop past the Bethesda stop if you're heading out of the city and the last stop inside the beltway going in that same direction. The metro stop serves the National Institute of Health (NIH) as well as the Naval Medical Center which make up the Medical Center.

Barnes & Noble Booksellers

A national chain and one of your agent's favorite spots, this Barnes & Noble is a landmark of downtown Bethesda. Located at the intersection of Woodmont Ave and Bethesda Ave, it sits squarely in the center of the action of the Bethesda Row area. This particular store is three full levels of books and entertainment. Have a coffee up on the second floor and enjoy downtown views or discover new music on the lower level.
