Aksarben Cinema, established in 2010, is Omaha's only locally owned and operated first run theatre. Each of the 10 screens features Dolby Digital technology, and that's not all. Aksarben Cinema is one of only two theaters in the nation to feature a glass-enclosed "master control room" housing the digital projection system. Both 2D and 3D content can be shown in the same auditorium each day!

Their auditoriums were designed to fit the customer's comfort, for an uninterrupted movie experience. Seats were made to minimize distractions by people seated in rows in front of patrons. Some of the theaters in their complex feature leather seats.

Adding to the flexibility and functionality of Aksarben Cinema is its biggest perk, beside the wonderful movie experience, "The Bar at Aksarben Cinema," a full-service bar located adjacent to the main auditorium and opposite the main lobby. They serve local and nationally-brewed beers, liquor, wine and frozen margaritas and strawberry daiquiris. Long story short, this cinema has „everything”.

Three Happiness Express

Three Happiness Express is the best sit-down Chinese in town. One great thing about this place are the entrees: big and cheap. And one of the best parts is the presentation. As an entree, I recommend with certainty the sweet and sour chicken, and you might also want to try the hot and sour soup, it's just so good! They have lots of vegan options, the menu is long, offering a good variety of meals. Service is good and the portions are big. You will be impressed by the prices for so much food though, and you will definitely return.
