Brockton is a city in Plymouth County, Massachusetts, United States; the population was 93,810 in the 2010 Census. Brockton, along with Plymouth, are the county seats of Plymouth County. Brockton is the seventh largest city in Massachusetts and is sometimes referred to as the "City of Champions", due to the success of native boxers Rocky Marciano and Marvin Hagler, as well as its successful Brockton High School sports programs. Two of the villages within the city are Montello and Campello, both have the distinction of having their own MBTA Commuter Rail Stations and post offices. Campello is the smallest neighborhood in the city, but the most populous. Brockton hosts a baseball team, the Brockton Rox.

Brockton Fire Museum

Opened in May of 1992, the Brockton Fire Museum was constructed for the purpose of preserving the proud history of fire fighting in the Brockton area. The artfully designed building, with wide pumpkin pine floors and subdued lighting, effectively conveys the atmosphere of a classic Brockton fire station during Victorian times. Literally thousands of fascinating fire fighting artifacts are preserved within the 2000 square-foot structure. The largest object on display is the beautifully restored 1850s Hand-Tub Pumper called "The Protector." There is also a touching memorial dedicated to the memory of the 13 Brockton firemen who were killed in the Strand Theater disaster in 1941 - the most firemen killed in a building fire in the nation's history.

Campanelli Stadium

Campanelli Stadium is a stadium in Brockton, Massachusetts. It is primarily used for baseball and is the home field of the Brockton Rox baseball team of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League summer league. The stadium opened in 2002 and holds 6,000 people. During Sunday afternoon home games, family fun festivals are held prior to the first pitch. Activities include face painting, balloon artists, and catch on the field. After the game, children are able to run the bases and receive autographs from the Rox players, who stand along the warning track. On Kids Eat Free Mondays, children receive a voucher for food with the purchase of a box seat. The Rox also host Thirsty Thursday at the ballpark, with specials on draft beers in the Right Field Beer Garden for $2. Also, the Rox host Friday Night Fireworks after all Friday night games. The venue is also used for medium to large scale concerts and other events. Major music acts such as Jack Johnson, Willie Nelson, Bob Dylan, and B52s have all played at Campanelli. Other events, including The Jonas Brothers' Roadogs Softball Game, and Kevin Faulk Celebrity Softball Game are also held at the facility. The stadium also hosts small scale events, such as Boy Scout overnights. The Brockton High School baseball games, select Boston College Eagles baseball games, and the Baseball Beanpot (Boston College, UMass Amherst, Northeastern, and Harvard).

Fuller Craft Museum

Fuller Craft Museum in Brockton, Massachusetts, is a museum in a suburban area south of the city of Boston. It receives 20,000 visitors a year. It contains contemporary craft-based art of many different genres and origins. It is the only craft museum in the New England area. The museum was founded in 1946. The permanent collection at Fuller Craft Museum includes studio furniture, as well as glass, ceramics, jewelry and wood or textiles. Many craft artists are included in the permanent collection. The outdoor permanent sculpture features materials from nature. The museum has an outdoor courtyard.

The museum also hosts temporary exhibits, such as displays of polymer clay sculptures, fantasy teapots, an exhibit on the meaning of shoes, and a current display of Native American basket weaving. It pairs with a local high school to offer weaving and ceramics lessons for special needs students

Cardinal Spellman High School

Cardinal Spellman High School is a private college preparatory high school of Catholic denomination established in 1958 and located in Brockton, Massachusetts. Like their fellow Catholic school and sports rival, Archbishop Williams High School, they operate separately from the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Boston. The school is named after Cardinal Francis Spellman. A wide variety of interscholastic athletic activities are available for students. All Spellman students are urged to participate in the regularly scheduled athletic events; as either athletes or as spectators. All students are expected to conduct themselves in a positive and responsible manner at all athletic events. Christian sportsmanship and enthusiasm are essential ingredients to all of Cardinal Spellman High School's activities and sporting events.

Stonehill College

Stonehill College is a private, non-profit, coeducational, Roman Catholic, liberal arts college located in Easton, Massachusetts, United States, founded in 1948. Situated in Easton, Massachusetts, a suburban community of 25,710 people, Stonehill is located 22 miles (35 km) south of Boston on a 375-acre (1.52 km2) campus, the original estate of Frederick Lothrop Ames.
