North Shore open Space Park

North Shore Open Space Park in Miami Beach is a wonderful oceanfront park in North Beach which spans 8 city blocks. There are many picnic tables and grills, a nature reserve, a Pavilion which can be rented for parties, and a beautiful off-leash dog park. This is a place I often take my dog to play. North Beach Trolley

You can take the nostalgic North Beach Trolley for free rides within the boundaries of North Beach. The trolley also makes a loop on Normandy Isle. It connects with the following Miami-Dade Transit routes: 120, S, H, L, 117, 115, 79. They run every 10 to 15 Minutes Monday through Sunday from 8 am till Midnight. Free fare. Bass Museum of Art

The Bass Museum of Art is located at 2100 Collins Ave in South Beach. The museum offers contemporary exhibitions, Lectures and educational programs.

Currently the Museum's galleries are closed for renovation and will reopen in Fall of 2016. During the 2015-2016 season, the museum will be presenting bassX, a series of exhibitions at the Miami Beach Library, directly across the street from the museum.

ART BASEL

Miami Beach hosts ART BASEL every year in December for over a decade. It is the biggest contemporary art fair in the U.S. There are countless exhibits and Art events throughout town with many Satellite fairs on Miami's Mainland as well. ART BASEL originated in Basel, Switzerland in 1970. As of today, Art Basel hosts yearly exhibits in Miami Beach, Florida, Basel, Switzerland, and Hong Kong.

New World Symphony and Wallcast

If you love classical music, this is the place to be. The New World Symphony is located at 500 17 Street in South Beach, offering special performances and Wallcast concerts on the 7,000 square ft exterior projection wall. If you like to enjoy the sounds in open air, you can bring a blanket or chair and a picinic meal to the adjacent Soundscape park. The Wallcast concerts are free to the public.

North Shore Band Shell Miami Beach

The North Beach Bandshell is an Amphitheater located at 7275 Collins Ave. This venue hosts many Events and Concerts including the annual Heineken TransAtlantic Festival. In addition the Food Truck and Music Fest is held every fourth Wednesday of the month from 5-10pm.
This venue also hosts free movie nights.

Havana 1957 Cuban Cuisine

Botanical Garden

The Miami Beach Botanical Garden is a real hidden gem. Tucked quietly across the street from the Convention Center, this lush venue for arts and cultural events such as Taste of the Garden, the Art Basel Cafe, and this year's Oktoberfest, the Garden offers tours, workshops and lectures on sustainability and green living. There are lots of shady places to sit and enjoy a picnic, or check out the large pond stocked with lilies and koi fish. Admission is always free. The Garden is open 9-5, Tuesday to Sunday. Lincoln Park / Soundscape

Lincoln Park/Soundscape is a wonderful open air space on the corner of 17th Street and Washington Ave and is part of the New World Symphony campus. The park has multiple functions, you can relax during the day under the pergolas and palm trees and listen and watch concerts and movies on the Wallcast in the evenings.
