Top 10 Neighborhood Amenities in Beavercreek, OH

Beavercreek is an east suburb of Dayton, OH. The current population is approximately 45,000 (August 2015).

Beavercreek is considered the most attractive city in the Dayton living area. This is especially due to its attractive setting, quality of life, and woody environment. As a consequence, it has been a growing suburb with still a considerable area for neighboring to annex.
The majority of Beavercreek residents are Air Force and civilian employees of adjacent Wright-Patterson Air Force Base and its contractors.

The area also welcomes one of the largest malls of the Dayton area: The Mall at Fairfield Commons. Furthermore, it is also the home of Wright State University, important research and manufacturing firms specialized in aerospace, electronics, and IT.

National Museum of the US Air Force

This museum is the oldest and largest military aviation museum of the world. It is located in the Wright-Patterson Air force Base, located in Beavercreek. This facility has aircrafts from different historical time periods, i.e. Korea War, World War II, Presidential Air Force one, Missiles and Spaces, and much more. It is a wonderful place to see for adults and children. The admission is completely FREE and it is open daily from 9am to 5pm expect at Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

Beavercreek Community Library

Although it is in a new facility, the city library offers several weekly events for adults and children. Some amenities offered by the library are photocopies, Early Literacy Computer Stations, voter registration, Self-service Checkout, free Wireless Internet. Furthermore, it is possible to search on line for new books and reserved them with a click.

Dominick Lofino Park

Without any doubts, Beavercreek does not miss parks.
Dominick Lofino Park was donated by the Lofino’s family, which later became a 36-acre park located on Grange Hall Road. The park features seven acre of lake commonly used by fisher lovers and a close by amphitheater that overlook it, four tennis courts, a large playground including a sandbox, picnic shelter, a skate park and a walking path. You can’t miss it!

Fresh Thyme Farmers Markets

This store opened just a couple months ago in the area and it is already a hit. Fresh and organic products are the specialty as well as a great variety of grains and meat. Their goal and purpose is to combine weekend framers market with the convenience of the grocery store. In town there are only two locations.

T.J. Maxx

If you need to keep up with the current trends and stay on budget, T.J. Maxx is the place where to shop. The Beavercreek location is the perfect combination. The store offers everything you might need.

The Mall at Fairfield Commons

Situated in a new developed area, the mall is the leading retail center for the Dayton-Springfield area. In fact, it is conveniently accessible from I-70, I-75 and U.S. 35.
The mall features over 130 shops, including some of the most important American stores such as Macy’s, JCPenney, Sears, Abercrombie & Fitch, AT&T, Verizon, and European stores like H&M and Sephora.
If you just want to dine, there are so many options from Chinese to Japanese cuisine, from Southern American to pizza. The mall also features monthly events just check their program!

Hindu Temple Of Dayton

The actual name of the temple is the Dayton Temple Kumbhabhishekam which if, however, located in Beavercreek. The temple serves the Hindu community of the Dayton area and is devoted to Venkateshwara, Rama, Sita, Lakshmana, Hanuman, Ganesha, and Radha Krishna. The Hindu congregation was initially formed in 1976, but only 1985 the temple was finally consecrated.

The Greene

The Greene is the shopping center that gives you a European atmosphere. Besides having a variety of shopping stores, the mall has several restaurants, a common square with live concerts in the summer, luxury apartment in its perimeter and several corporate offices. In the summer, it is the favorite place for walking and have a nice ice cream.

Bella Villa Hall - John Pirelli Lodge

This is the club you want to join. The Bella Villa Hall alias the Italian Club of the area is named after John Pirelli, an Italian aviator who died during while testing a plane in 1919. Initially, the lodge was a place where early Italian immigrants settled, along First, Second, Third, Fourth, and Fifth Streets. Since 1978, the lodge has an Italian festival with Italian food and bocce tournaments.

MCCORMICK & SCHMICK'S

If you craving fish and seafood, this is your place. Conveniently located at The Greene, this restaurant is very famous for its fresh fish. In recent time, it has begun the European trend of “happy Hour” where their features dishes are half price.
