Chino Hills is a southeastern suburb of Los Angeles located in the southwestern corner of San Bernardino County, California, United States. The city borders Los Angeles County on its northwest side, Orange County to its south, and Riverside County to its southeast. The city had a population of 74,799 at the 2010 census.

Chino Hills was ranked 34th in Money magazine's "Best places to live 2012." It is also the 6th highest income place in the United States (with population 65,000 to 250,000)and was ranked as the 13th safest city in the United States in 2008 by the FBI. Chino Hills is a part of the Chino Valley.

Chino Hills’ reputation is known in the national arena as well, as it was featured on the list of 87 of America’s hottest towns in the January 2004 issue of Money magazine. Chino Hills was ranked 8th on the list of “best places in the west with a population under 100,000.” The magazine reviewed a decade of data for communities with above average population growth, income, and home prices “to see where people were most willing to devote a high multiple of their annual income to live happily ever after.

ChinoHills High School

Chino Hills High School, abbreviated CHHS, is located in Chino Hills, California and is one of the four regular high schools in the Chino Valley Unified School District. The school was established in 2001. CHHS is a comprehensive school serving a very economically and socially diverse student body from three cities in the Chino Valley.

Chino Hills Community Park

Chino Hills Community Park incorporates 33 acres of outdoor space situated in the north-west corner of Peyton Drive & Eucalyptus Avenue. The territory boasts a wide range of amenities, among which are: Six Ball Fields with Soccer Overlays, Snack Bar, Two Restroom Buildings, Shaded Playground, Soft-toss Batting Cages, Bull Pens for Pitcher Warm-Ups, and Parking lot fit to accommodate up to 200 cars. Some of the park features are truly state-of-the-art, such as Musco lighting and synthetic turf fields. The latter offer significant benefits including: No Game Cancellations After Rain (even heavy rain), No Need to Close Down Fields for Repairs Caused by Heavy-use Field Markings (soccer lines & baseball foul lines) are Permanent No Field Maintenance by Sports Organizations.

James S. Thalman Chino Hills Branch Library

The San Bernardino County Library is a part of a larger SBCL network, comprising 32 branches in San Bernardino County. The library serves a rather diverse clientele residing in a vast territory and, in doing so, it plays an important role delivering educational and recreational service to the people. In particular, SBCL provides meeting facilities, technology, materials, programs, services, and qualified personnel in a bid to improve the quality of life and strengthen the community spirit. Over the years, SBCL has been a dedicated educator, resource, and guide to the general public, students, business people, industrial professionals, and public officials. The library is renowned for its accurate and timely service.

Chino Hills State Park

Chino Hills State Park is a major outdoor area in the hills of Santa Ana Canyon, adjacent to Riverside. A vital link in the Puente-Chino Hills biological chain, this Park extends for almost 31 miles, from the Santa Ana Mountains to the Whittier Hills. Filled with oaks, sycamores and rolling, grassy hills, it offers a great escape the big city life bustle, allowing visitors to find the much craved peace and quiet in natural surroundings. Camping here for a couple of days or simply taking a stroll, or riding a horse or a bicycle through the valleys, woodlands or grasslands will put your mind and body at rest. The sixty-mile long network of trails in the Park makes it perfect for observing the local wildlife and vegetation. Among the conveniences here are a picnic zone, equestrian staging area, pipe corrals, a historic barn, water spigots and WCs. Day entry costs $5.00 and overnight tent and RV camping is available for $15.00 per night. RV access is provided without hookups.

Los Serranos Country Club

Los Serranos Country Club is one of the best public golf venues in Southern California. The club features two 18-hole golf courses and is sprawled over 300 acres of the historic Don Lugo Spanish Land Grant in comfortable closeness to Los Angeles, Orange County and San Bernardino county. This world class facility offers championship golf, golf tuition, and award-winning clubhouse. McCoy Equestrian & Recreation Center

The Frank B. and Helen McCoy Equestrian & Recreation Center is the property donated to the community of Chino Hills in 1997 by Helen McCoy with an aim to preserve local horse riding and rural heritage. The McCoys made name throughout the world for their remarkable Arabian horse breeding program. Spread across 20 acres, the facility offers splendid equestrian amenities and plays host to numerous horse shows and other livestock events, as well as weddings, banquets, corporate parties and more.
