Amenities in Milton, Georgia

Milton, a city in Fulton County, was created in 2006 out of the entire unincorporated northwestern part of the county. It is a highly affluent area with a population is 32,661. Milton is named in honor of the former Milton County, which was named after Revolutionary War Hero John Milton. The portion of North Fulton, generally north of the Chattahoochee River, comprises most of the territory of the former Milton County. Homeowners find that Milton embraces small-town life and heritage while enhancing the city’s rural character. Known for its pastoral landscapes, equestrian estates, and tranquil spaces, Milton provides easy access to the conveniences of Atlanta.

Atlanta National Golf Club

Atlanta National Country Club, a private gated community, is located in the North Fulton area of Milton. This community is one of the most respected and sought after clubs in North Atlanta. Atlanta National Country Club is an established swim, tennis, and golf community with large estate lots. Homes range in price from $500,000 to $2 million.

Amenities include an 18-hole Pete and P.B. Dye golf course. Families love the great recreation facilities such as an amazing clubhouse, and swim and tennis facilities. Located close to shopping, schools, and major roads makes this the ideal community to call home.

Bell Memorial Park

Bell Memorial Park is one of four recreational parks that Milton residents love having for their families. Bell Memorial Park is filled with activity as there are many youth baseball games happening morning, noon and night. The park includes baseball fields, pavilions, parking, and a playground. Bell Memorial Park is a wonderful benefit to living, working and playing in Milton, Georgia.

Crabapple Crossroads

Crabapple Crossroads is a great area with a fabulous shopping experience housed in historic structures that are over a hundred years old. Crossroad offers everything from residential homes, fine and casual dining, one of a kind boutiques and art galleries and other services.

Crooked Creek

Crooked Creek is one of Milton, Georgia's largest communities complete with swim, tennis and golf. The community is organized around the Alpharetta Athletic Club of North Fulton County.

This 600+ home community sits on over 500 wooded acres. It is a great place for families and those who especially love tennis and golf. Crooked Creek offers access to some of the mos sought after schools (both public and private) in the Atlanta metro-area.

Neighborhood amenities include: 6000 square foot community clubhouse, basketball court, playground, 11 lighted tennis courts, junior Olympic swimming pool and separate kids pool and water park area with many splash features and a 140 foot water slide.

Isabelle Gautiers Art Studio Gallery

Artist Isabelle Gautier from Normandy, now calls Milton Georgia home where she lives with her family. Her gallery is located off Richmond Glen Circle in Milton Georgia and meets with clients by appointment only. Isabelle's work has been represented in multiple galleries in the United States and in 2013 she was chosen by HGTV as the primary artist for their smart home in Florida. She supports several children's charities by donating paintings for their fundraisers.

Milton High School

Milton High School is a National Blue Ribbon School and won 7 state championships during 2011-2012. The school states that their mission is "to provide a safe, supportive and challenging learning environment that fosters academic and personal excellence for all students as they prepare to succeed in the 21st century." In 2015, U.S. News and World Report ranked Milton High School the 6th best high school in Georgia. With everything from high academics, to a variety of clubs, and a multiple of sports offerings, Milton High School is a family favorite.

Milton's Cuisine Cocktails Restaurant

Milton’s Cuisine & Cocktails is located in Crabapple’s Historic District (a part of Milton). This unique restaurant is very inviting as it sits in a 150 year-old farmhouse and a 1930’s cottage. The dining experience is welcoming with it's fabulous bar, fireplaces and an outdoor deck/patio. The restaurant uses fresh and local ingredients to create comfort foods that are beautiful as well as delicious. Milton's Cuisine & Cocktails ingredients come from their own on garden, called the “Milton’s Acre.”

Triple Crown Community

Triple Crown, located off Birmingham Highway in North Fulton, is a family friendly community. It consists of approximately 250 custom homes sitting in a natural wooded setting. Lots are one acre or more with home prices ranging from $800,000 to $1,200,000.

Triple Crown amenities include swim and tennis, a four acre lake with a dock, walking trail, a two acre park, and a large clubhouse with kitchen, great room and meeting room. The community is on some of the most beautiful land of all North Georgia and known as “ Horse Country.”

Wilbur & Rudy's Farmhouse Market

Wilbur and Rudys Farmtable is Milton family favorite. This local and organic farmers market is located in the old Buice’s General Store on the main corner of the Birmingham Crossroads. The store provides a retail grocery store complete with organic ingredients, fresh and local produce, an organic coffee shop and cafe, gift shop and antiques, wine shop, decorations and home decor.

Milton Libary

The Milton Library located at 855 Mayfield Road in Milton, Georgia was designed as four distinct buildings. There is a large reading and a community/meeting room that seats 110 people and is available to reserve for meetings. The building is stunning and gives residents a constant view of the outdoors. The library also offers a bookstore opened Monday thru Friday.
