New Holland Brewing Company

Western Michigan is home to many craft breweries. New Holland Brewing Company is a gathering place for live music and great beer!They also have a distillery for many spits such as whiskey and bourbon.

Hope College

Hope College is a distinguished four-year liberal arts college, affiliated with the Reformed Church in America. Located in the heart of Holland, the stately buildings are classic Dutch architecture and are home to the reclaimed Hope Summer Repertoire Theater. The college offers 91 different majors and minors.

Farmer's Fresh Market

The Holland Farmer's Market is a fresh market and destination that most locals migrate to for fresh produce, farm fresh eggs, cheese, honey, fresh flowers and potted plants. Musical entertainers give a whimsical atmosphere as they play and sing among the vendors. 8:00 am to 3:00 pm Wednesdays and Saturdays from May 13 to November 25, then Saturdays only through December 12.

Kollen Park

Kollen Park sets on the banks of Lake Macatawa. It's bandshell is host to the free Friday night summer concerts where the community bring lawn chairs and a picnic dinner to enjoy as they listen to the music. The community enjoys this park for holiday fireworks and peaceful strolls along the picturesque views of the water.

8th Street

Downtown Holland on 8th Street is a vibrant place where there are many upscale shops and boutiques, eateries, coffee shops and breweries. On Thursday evenings in the summer, 8th Street is host to the Street Performer Series. The street is closed down for the night as different acts line the streets to perform as the community comes out to enjoy the festivities as they visit with friends new and old.

Windmill Island Gardens

Amidst the unique gardens of flowers, ornamentals, and statuaries of this 36-acre park awaits the authentic Dutch windmill DeZwaan, producing stone-ground flour. Enjoy a DeZwaan tour by costumed guides, Summer Dutch dancing, a movie on Dutch culture, Amsterdam street organ demonstration, Tropical Conservatory, Antique Children’s carousel, Playground & Children’s Gardens, farm animals, and a larger-than-life checker game. Complete your visit by perusing the many choices in our Gift shop including DeZwaan flour & De Zoete Haan fudge.

Boatwerks Restaurant

Boatwerks Restaurant is located right on Lake Macatawa and has beautiful outside dining. The menu ranges from pizza to seafood and steak entrees. They also have banquet facilities and off site catering for special events.

Knickerbocker Theater

The Knickerbocher Theatre is an old school movie theatre that is now owned and operated by Hope College. They offer foreign films and classics for the public to view. The stage is also used for different recitals and small venue musical events.

Holland Hospital

Holland Hospital is an independent and not for profit hospital. It recognized by Healthgrades 50 Best Hospitals and Truven 100 Top Hospitals. They house the Boven Birth Center, Cardiology & Vascular Services, Spine & Orthopedics, Surgical Services and Emergency & Urgent Care to name a few.

Holland Aquatic Center

The Holland Aquatic Center offers residents an opportunity to take swimming lessons, exercise or just have fun in the splash pad or 50 meter pool. There is a workout room and is available to rent out to groups and schools. Enjoy the pool year around!

Centennial Park

Centennial Park is a 5 acre city park located in the heart of town. It is the site of many community events, art fairs and Tulip Time Festivities. It is a great place to relax and read a book in the shade of the mature trees.
