Top 10 Neighborhood Amenities in South Rose Hill/Bridle Trails

Welcome to the South Rose Hill, Bridle Trails Community. Here you can have a taste of country living while still living "close-in” to the amenities of living near Seattle. There are properties that actually border Bridle Trails State Park, which comprises 482 acres of forested walking and riding trails. Along with this fabulous park, the area incorporates 53 schools of the Lake Washington School District. Bridle Trails Shopping Center brings you many conveniences, like Red Apple Market, Bartell Drugs, Starbucks Coffee Shop, Ace Hardware, Anytime Fitness, Chase and Wells Fargo Banks, Tech City Bowl, dry cleaners, various restaurants, shoe repair, barber shop, hair salons and dentists. Other distinct features to this area are the Central Park Tennis Club and the Aleron Training Stables. Well-worth exploring!

South Rose Hill Park

A great place to stop for a picnic lunch. Playground equipment for children to frolic on and plumbed restroom. A beautiful wooded escape right in the neighborhood. Grab your dog for a nice yet short walk.

Rose Hill Elementary

Washington State Achievement Award Winning Elementary School...see the green banner against the building attests to that fact. Rose Hill El. was remodeled or as the school district calls it modernized in 2006.

Lake Washington Senior High School

Home of the Kangaroos (LWHS Mascot is a kangaroo named Lizzy) Go Kangs Go! Purple and White, Fight, Fight! LWHS had their facelift (modernization) in 2011. One of the most green projects around when they did geothermal heating.

Kirkland Cemetery

Though this may seem rather peculiar, the Kirkland Cemetery is really listed as a PARK! It is truly a park-like setting, I had a friend who lived across the street and we actually had a picnic over there!

Bridle Trails Shopping Center

Convenience abounds at this Shopping Center: Red Apple Market, Bartell Drugs, Starbucks Coffee Shop, Ace Hardware, Anytime Fitness, Chase and Wells Fargo Banks, Tech City Bowl, Dry Cleaners, Jewelers, various Restaurants, Shoe Repair, Barber Shop, Nail and Hair Salons, Physical Therapy and Dentists. The old Totem Bowling Alley has been updated and is now Jet City Bowl.

Central Park Tennis Club

Play where you live! If you are an avid tennis enthusiast, Central Park Tennis Club has it all... Indoor and Outdoor tennis courts, tennis lessons and clinics, weekly tennis programs, tennis for men, women, mixed groups and even junior tennis with 7 different levels starting at age 3 up to 18.

Aleron Training Stables

Looking for a higher standard of excellence when it comes to jumping and hunting? Come visit this place and see for yourself what they are all about. Kirkland is fortunate to have such a high caliber riding stable.

Bridlewood Circle

Can you believe having a home on a horse acre so close to town?!? And having access to Bridle Trails State Park right out your back door?!? Some of the homes have great paddocks and well thought out living spaces.

Bridle Trails State Park

This is such a cool park that it has its own Facebook page for you to LIKE! Well worth checking it out for great photos.
This park has an arena and lots of area to ride...462 acres. One of the Eastside's best places to horseback ride, hike on trails, bird watch, picnicking etc. They also have a annual Picnic in the Park and many other events put on by different saddle clubs.

Flicka Farms Horse Boarding

Again, you need to check out their Facebook page because just as Confucius said "A picture is worth a thousand words". Become part of their Barn Family, they ride, train and show together.
