St. Armand’s Circle lies at the heart of Lido Key and Longboat Key, and is known as a major shopping destination. Its central park usually gets quite busy on weekends with displays of local exotic and classic cars presented by car clubs' members, featuring some truly fine pieces of auto-making, as well as art and craft shows, plus many other different venues coming to the park on weekends, without any cost. Just a minutes walk from here is the world famous Lido Key Beach. The area abounds in multiple condos and resort facilities of both low and high rises, offering terrific waterfront views to its inhabitants. The nearby parks cater for various water sports, including paddle boarding and more. The Lido Pavilion houses a swimming pool. Visitors to the area are warned against pulling any of the natural sea plants and disturbing the local turtle and sea bird population, whose nests are plainly marked. Driving around and parking might be difficult during the season due to heavy traffic, so patience and carefulness are highly recommended.
